The End Has Come...

No not for LivLux, lol. You got scared, huh? Well we're not going anywhere anytime soon. But the end has come for Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model.

This Wednesday is the final episode and even though I've been slacking on the updates, I've been keeping track of the show as best as possible. I was very disappointed in the judges last week for sending Marjorie home. It's OK girl! You gone make it somewhere with yo timid a**! Lol... Well anyways, set you clocks for for 8:00p.m. Wednesday (7:00 Central) and be checking back on LivLux, because we will most definitely be having an ANTM Report on the lucky girl.

Newbies: Hoakon Helga

I don't think the obsession girls have with bags and shoes will ever be understood, but it's just something about them that make us feel like that's the most important thing in the world. Well, Hoakon Helga is not really helping us overcome our addiction. They produce an incredible line of recycled leather handbags and reclaimed materials for the linings, causing each bag to be unique and one of a kind. Take that Vuitton! People wait months and months for designer handbags only to walk around looking like everyone else...but not with Hoakon Helga. HH also has a jewelry line made of new, vintage and antique jewelry that's recreated, and also scarves that are hand-dyed rusted and screen printed in their studio. The scarves take 2-5 days to complete (so don't complain about price) which equals a lot of TLC. Here's some more from their collection.

Smell Like A Scumbag!

Fellas get ready to smell like the guy in the club who tries to get everyone's number and take home the first thing that agrees! Yay good times right?!? Playboy has teamed up with beauty company Coty and released four different fragrances that "...capture the multiplicity of the Playboy guy”...puh-leeze! The different fragrances are named after the cities that have the most "Playboys", Vegas, Hollywood, Malibu(The Bu), and Miami. And check this out, they're only priced at around $15, so that means you can spend that extra 40 bucks that you would've spent on a good bottle on colonge on a round of drinks for the ladies...yeahhhhhhhh. Lol, Idk why I'm being so hard on Hef and his new venture, more power to him, he managed to sell sex in a bottle. Now that's talent.

Ad Of The Week

Normally when I pick the ad of the week I browse through the different designer websites and pick the one that's most appealing. But this ad has been on my mind for quite some time now. I love it's eerie-ness, and Liya has amazing intensity and Raquel's face is always to die for. This could be a ad for the movie "I know what you wore last summer"...omg I'm so gonna make that movie DON'T BITE MY IDEA! lol

Shut Up And Let Me Go!

For all you people who refuse to expand your variety of music; here's something for your ears to enjoy! I heard about this band a little over a year ago and can listen to their music all day. Jules De Martino (drums, guitar, vocals) and Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drum) come together to make The Ting Tings. If you haven't heard their music, you must be without cable, because even if you didn't notice, their music has been in numerous television shows such as Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. I could go on and on about their accolades, but I'd rather you listen to them and be the judge.

P.S.-This song was used at Miami Fashion Week. I know because I was there ;-)

These are a little Bozo the clown-ish...but it can be properly done (believe me, or better yet call me if you need some help). For some reason every time I look at them I think about T-Pain.



This is a great alternative for the girls who admire Creative Recs from afar because they don't really wear sneakers. Paired with leggings, oversized flannel shirt, and bomber jacket maybe?


And These...these are probably my favorite. But with these I would want to see a random color thrown in the outfit, can't really think of a color right now but try it anyway and tell me how it goes, lol.

Did You See?

Did you see MK and AO at the release party for their new book Influence? Oh wait excuse me...their "Coffee Table" book, everyone feels the need to emphasize that. The party was held at Barney's (of course) and the twins mingled with everyone from socialite Fabiola Beracasa, to Teen Vogue's Amy Astley. The girls looked fab with their messy Moss-ish hair, and stilletos that could be used as weapons.
